'Bag for life'

This reclaimed deckchair is made from recycled aquarium tubing and sand gathered from local beaches. There is the odd piece of tubing to be found with treasure in it namely crushed shells gathered from the spit at Teignmouth and vintage sparkling seed beads. Used plastic carrier bags are used to decorate the frame and to help hold it together! Having spent much of my childhood on Teignmouth beach, I seem to remember I used to gather many more varieties of shells than what is found there today.
