My ephemera catching device will catch natural happenings which last for a brief time and disappear unless they are photographed. Frost, dew, rain, sunlight, shadow, spiders' webs can be caught by the device, a pseudo scientific instrument to increase awareness of transitory changes in the weather and improve the onlookers powers of observation and creativity. For example, how many times does the polar bear get frosted each year? Which surfaces attract more frost?
