A Tree of Life

Urban trees disappear as we get more risk averse. 'A Tree of Life' mourns this loss but celebrates scrap as a creative resource for the community.

Ali-way Scrapstore is at the heart of Hollacombe Community Resource Centre in Paignton. The source for much of the Tree of Life, it provides a wide range of non toxic recycled and re-usable art and craft materials to the wider community.

Communities are important; Hollacombe Arts is part of a community drawn together by shared creativity and a growing recognition of their potential. The Tree of Life is their lively, affectionate dialogue about a tree and what might happen around it.
