Our installation attempts to illustrate human kind's level of denial in the face of environmental adversity. Whether it be in relation to natural phenomena or self induced breakdown, we have become adept at living alongside these issues, becoming de sensitised and oblivious to the implications for the future term.

We are the small shoal of fish, the larger symbol is representative of the environmental reality that we live along side, false, artificial, disharmonious, dead but somehow through our veil of denial we live with troubled conscience swept cleanly under the carpet, pacified with the desire culture, which creates the problem that keeps us from seeing the truth.

We can learn to move away from desire, to recognise the sheer disharmony and destruction that it creates, to learn wisdom and to take courage, to pull our heads from the sand, to start to look squarely at that which lies before us, to have courage to change that which we can.

GOD GRANT US THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS WE CANNOT CHANGE, COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS WE CAN
