'Creepy Crawly Creatures'
Reception Class age 4-5 years old
The children made the insects using plastic bottles, colourful carrier bags,
wire and beads. All the materials were recycled.
Jenny Archer who ran the insect making workshops, asked the children why
they thought insects were imoportant.
"bee's make honey which tastes nice" said one child
"insects are fun to watch" said another
We discussed why insects are an important part of living creatures and how
everything on earth works together as a team.
