'Broken Rainbow'

T.R.A.I.L.Community soft sculpture, Teignmouth Pier, Sunday 4th September 2005

The sculpture took I,000 hours to knit and was constructed from 800 squares knitted from 4,000 plastic bags destined for landfill. Apart from being more beautiful than expected the sculpture contains much wisdom, kindness and friendship.
Many thanks to all those that took part and supported the project. Keep message alive, use less plastic bags, dispose of them carefully and recycle.
